Hunger in the Occupied Palestinian Territories

Palestinian families living in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip endure frequent conflicts. Today, Gaza is in the midst of a major conflict with millions of people displaced, under near constant attack, and in urgent need of food, clean water, and other humanitarian assistance.

How We're Helping in Gaza

Action Against Hunger has been working with local suppliers inside Gaza to build latrines and distribute basic supplies such as water, food, hygiene kits, diapers, blankets, and mattresses as efficiently and quickly as possible. Our teams have also delivered fresh vegetables and fruits to families. Limited supplies, lack of fuel, ongoing violence, and frequent communications blackouts make this work increasingly challenging.

How We're Helping in the West Bank

In the West Bank, Action Against Hunger supports families who have been displaced and those who fear they will be forcibily displaced by distributing supplies including first aid kits, solar-powered lights, fire extinguishers, and tents, and by providing mobile water and sanitation services. Our teams are also providing seeds and hygiene supplies.
